Thank you! I love DNA by BTS! It is the first song that they performed in the United States that propelled them into the US market in 2017.
That's interesting about the varsity jacket as a status symbol. It reminds me of the Northface jackets that school-aged children saw as a status symbol (when I lived in Korea at least.... I don't know if that is still a trend). BTS also has a song about that called 등골브레이커 or Spine Breaker in which they sing about the cost of those jackets breaking the backs of parents who work so hard to buy them, that the youth shouldn't care about such status symbols. I really like digging into BTS' lyrics with messages that challenge societal norms.
